Description

This paper describes new procedures, written in the Mathematica programming language, for quickly typsetting mathematical formulas in Latex syntax. Two main procedures provide direct interface with the user. The first of them obtains the Latex representation of a single formula. The second procedure analyzes a set of formulas, searching for common terms and symmetries, and breaks orignal formulas input by the user in a series of calculations of intermediate terms. In either case, a list of symbols used in teh formulas is automatically generated in Latex format. The procedures may speed up the writing of technical publications and eliminate common sources of error in their preperation.
