Description

The authors use Mathematica to illustrate two classic methods for the approximate construction of regular polygons: the method of Archimedes and the method of Bardin, making a comparative study of the errors of both methods. They also include an algorithm, coded in Mathematica 4.0, for the animation of both methods.
